The service

PDF Atelier provides browser-based tools that read and write PDF and image files on your device. We host the application and, for paying users, an account and billing record. We do not host, store or process your documents.

Plans and payment

Free requires no payment method. The 48-hour Pass is a one-time payment that grants premium access for 48 hours and does not renew. Plus is a recurring subscription that renews until you cancel it; cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the paid period.

Prices shown on the pricing page are the prices charged. Where a campaign price applies, the standard price is displayed alongside it.

Lifetime Access

Lifetime Access is a one-time payment of €149 that grants the premium capabilities of Atelier Plus for the commercial lifetime of the PDF Atelier service. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and no further payment is taken.

"Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the service, not to the lifetime of the purchaser. If PDF Atelier is discontinued as a commercial service, Lifetime Access ends with it; we will announce a discontinuation on this page and by email to the account address at least 90 days in advance, and the browser-based tools already delivered to your device keep working for as long as they are hosted.

Lifetime Access includes new tools released within the Atelier Plus scope. It does not include Team, Business or organisation-level features, seats for other people, or any service billed separately. It is tied to a single account and cannot be transferred or resold.

If you buy Lifetime Access while a Plus subscription is active, that subscription is stopped at the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed. Statutory withdrawal rights apply as described below; beyond them, one-time payments are not refunded pro rata because there is no remaining period to refund.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having the right to process the documents you open, and for keeping your own backups. Do not use PDF Atelier to remove protection from documents you are not authorised to modify.

Output and warranties

Tools state which document features they preserve and which they intentionally discard. We provide the service as-is and cannot guarantee that every possible PDF in existence is handled without loss; where a tool rebuilds a document, you are warned before export.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in use.

Advertising

The free tier is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense, shown between steps of the workflow and never inside the editor or over a document. No document content is shared with any advertising provider. The 48-hour Pass and Plus load no advertising script at all. How ads and consent work in detail is described on the privacy page.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we announce it on this page before the change applies to an active plan.
