Your documents are processed on your device

PDF Atelier runs its PDF engine inside your browser. Opening, editing, converting, redacting and exporting all happen locally, so the file bytes never leave your machine to run a tool.

What we never receive

The following never reaches our servers, on any plan:

  • Your PDF or image files, or any part of their content.
  • File names, page text, form values, signatures or redacted text.
  • Passwords you type to open or protect a document — they are used in memory only.

What product analytics contains

We record which tool was used and whether it finished, plus coarse buckets such as an approximate page count or duration range. Payload keys are whitelisted in code, so document-derived values cannot be added by accident.

  • Examples of what is sent: tool identifier, success or failure, page-count bucket, duration bucket.
  • Examples of what is not sent: file names, text, images, thumbnails, coordinates of redactions.

What an optional account stores

An account is only needed to buy or restore a plan. It stores your email address, your plan and its validity, and per-day usage counters used to apply limits. It does not store your documents or any document metadata.

Payments

Card details are handled by our payment provider. PDF Atelier receives a customer reference and the state of your plan, never card numbers.

Advertising and cookies

PDF Atelier is free for anonymous and free-plan users because those sessions may be shown ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies, local storage and device identifiers to serve, cap and measure those ads, and may combine them with data Google already holds about the browser.

No document content is ever shared with any advertising provider: the ad tag has no access to the file you opened, its name, its pages or anything derived from them. Ads are placed only between steps of the workflow, never inside the editor or on top of a document.

  • Paid plans (48-hour Pass and Plus) load no advertising script at all.
  • How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Besides advertising cookies, the app stores only local preferences and, if you sign in, a session token. There are no tracking cookies of our own.

Consent (EU, UK and California)

In regions that require it, a Google-certified consent message appears before personalised ads are enabled. If you refuse, either no ad script is loaded or only non-personalised ads are requested, and every tool keeps working exactly the same.

You can change your choice at any time from the “Ad preferences” link in the footer, which reopens the same consent message.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and its billing records by writing to ecommercemanageritalia@gmail.com. Because documents are never uploaded, there is nothing document-related to delete on our side.
