Questions about JPG to PDF

Can I combine multiple JPG images into one PDF?
Yes. Add all images, drag them into the correct order and choose Create PDF. Each image becomes a page in the resulting document. The page list should make it easy to remove duplicates before conversion.
Can I choose A4, Letter or image-sized pages?
Yes. Users should be able to choose common paper sizes or fit the PDF page to each image. When a fixed page size is selected, the tool should offer fit, fill and margin controls so images are not cropped unexpectedly.
Will converting JPG to PDF reduce image quality?
The conversion should preserve the source image data as much as practical. Re-encoding a JPG at a lower quality setting is unnecessary unless the user also asks to compress the result. The tool should keep conversion and compression as separate, understandable choices.
Can I change portrait and landscape orientation?
Yes. Orientation can be automatic based on the image or fixed for the document. Users should also be able to rotate an individual image before conversion when phone EXIF orientation is incorrect.
What happens to EXIF data in my photos?
The PDF page contains the image needed for display, but image EXIF metadata does not have to become PDF document metadata. PDF Atelier should avoid copying unnecessary camera/location metadata into the output and document exactly what is retained.
Can JPG to PDF make the text in a photo searchable?
Not by itself. Converting a photo to PDF wraps the image in a PDF page. Searchable text requires OCR, which should be a separate feature with its own privacy and accuracy explanation.
Can I convert JPG images on a phone?
Yes. The mobile-first picker should support photo-library selection and multiple images. The tool should warn when a very large set of high-resolution photos may exceed mobile browser memory and offer a lower-memory processing path.
